The most sanitary beer faucet ever!

Perlick’s 630SS stainless steel, forward-sealing beer faucet is unique in both appearance and function.  Perlick’s revolutionary ball and floating O-ring design prevents beer from being exposed to air.  As a result, the handle lever doesn’t stick, and there is no build up of mold and bacteria in the faucet body.  The micro-finished interior produces a smooth flow with less foaming ensuring a perfect pour every time.  Fewer internal parts means better reliability.  Easy to clean – may be cleaned in place.  Note this product replaces and improves upon the 525SS faucet, which is no longer being manufactured.

  • Bearing Cup/follower:  Maintains uniform pressure on pivot ball to provide smooth operation of handle.
  • 304 sanitary stainless steel for all parts that contact beer.  Protects flavor of beer.
  • Floating forward-sealing O-ring:  front and rear sealing flats are contoured to provide more surface to surface contact for a more positive seal.
  • Spout angle is more vertical – provided for better draining.  Drop off begins just beyond the O-ring.  No flat area for beer to collect.

Great faucets. really make a difference

I was skeptical about faucets making a difference, but I am conVince these are better. The flows smother and the amount of foam is greatly reduced.

    Great faucet

Posted by Tom on 1st Aug 2014

I needed two more faucets for my keeper build. I already have two of the less expensive no name faucets, but I was ready to step it up so I bought the 630 series per lick facets and boy it is night and day! I will be replacing the no name faucets with two more of these shortly. Great pour, great control, very few drops at the end, and the best part they look so much better. Do yourself a favor buy these faucets and thank me later!

I bought 3 of these faucets and I love the look and feel. Exceptional build quality. Great seal, I get 2 drips after every pour consistently.

    Finally, a faucet that works

Posted by Peter on 9th Mar 2014

I bought the Perlick 630SS to replace a defective 525SS faucet that I recently purchased from my LHBS. My brand new 525SS was leaking from the spout. After three frustrating phone calls to Perlick and one rebuild kit later, I ended up returning it to the LHBS because Perlick didn't want to own up to the defect. Birdman was one of the first retailers to stock this faucet and they were $10 cheaper than everyone else. The 630SS has changed the design slightly from the 525SS, but the principle is still the same. If you have your heart set on forward-sealing faucets, I think Perlick has learned their lesson and has actually improved the design with the 630SS. Both of my 630SS faucets are working flawlessly. They have been in use for about 2 weeks, so I can't really speak to their durability or maintainability. If these are anything like their predecessors, the faucets should work a lifetime if it doesn't have any defects to begin with. As an aside, the only redeeming thing that came out of my conversations with Perlick is some care tips (presumably for all the forward-sealing faucets): 1)Never tighten the top bonnet with anything but your hand. 2)Using heavy tap handles could interfere with faucet performance. 3)You should only remove the gaskets if you need to replace them. You don't need to remove them to clean the faucet. 4)These faucets are designed for commercial distribution pressures (~20 psi). The faucet will actually seal tighter at the spout at higher pressures.
